Pen Tool
Welcome to the fifth module in our 8-week course. This week, we will learn about one of the most popular tools in Adobe Illustrator, the pen tool. The pen tool is diverse, allowing you to create precise vector artwork. You will begin by reading the lecture and watching some demonstration videos. After that, you will get plenty of hands-on practice before completing the pen tool assignment and knowledge check. Remember to be patient with yourself as the pen tool requires a lot of practice to master it. ​

Objectives
At the end of this module, students will be able to:
1. Develop an understanding of the pen tool and its functions. CO2

3. Create Custom shapes with the pen tool. CO3
Lesson Instructions

To begin, you need to complete step one, which involves reading the Pen Tool Beginner's Guide and watching a pen tool demonstration video. Once you have completed step 1, you can continue to step 2.

Next, you will work your way through chapter 6 in your textbook. Before moving to step three, you will also complete a pen tool practice assignment.

Lastly, you will complete the pen tool project, turn it in following the instructions provided, and complete the module knowledge check before moving on to Module 6.
