Module 2
Principles of Design
In this module, we will start by studying the Gestalt Principles, the Seven Principles of Design, and the Design Process. You will progress through chapter three of the textbook, discovering the shape tool in Adobe Illustrator. After that, you will integrate all of these concepts to produce your own Principles of Design Poster. Finally, you will take the module 2 knowledge check to assess your understanding of the material.

1. Effectively demonstrate their knowledge of gestalt principles. CO1

Lesson Instructions

To begin, you must complete step one, which involves reading three articles on the Principles of Design and the Gestalt Principles. Additionally, you will watch a brief demonstration video on the design process. These steps will be helpful for your first design project, which is part of step three.

Next, you will work your way through chapter three in your textbook before moving on to step three.

Lastly, you will complete the module assignments, turn them in following the instructions provided, and complete the module knowledge check before moving on to Module 3.
