Please read each article about the Gestalt Principles and the Seven Principles of Design. As you read, take notes to capture key concepts, examples, and any questions or thoughts that arise. Reflect on how these two principles intersect and complement each other in graphic design practice.

The Design Process Demonstration

In this demonstration video, we will review the basic design process. You will be expected to utilize this process in each project throughout this course. Each project will start with a project brief. Then, you will be expected to research ideas, create a moodboard, brainstorm ideas, experiment with those ideas, create a draft, and finalize your project.
