Module 3
Color Theory
Welcome to the third module in our 8-week course. Hopefully, you will find this module more vibrant than the last one. That is because we will be exploring the fundamental concepts of color theory. We will start with understanding the distinction between CMYK and RGB. We will also look at basic color schemes and the psychological impact of color. You will participate in a class discussion and complete the assigned chapter reading and lessons. Lastly, you will create a visually compelling poster that applies your understanding of color theory.
Objectives
At the end of this module, students will be able to:
1. Explain the difference between CMYK & RGB. CO1​
2. Identify the three basic color schemes. CO1
3. Creative a visually appealing poster while applying color theory. CO3
Lesson Instructions

To begin, you need to complete step one, which involves reading two articles on Color Theory. Additionally, you will participate in a discussion in Padlet. Once you have completed step 1, continue to step 2.

Next, you will work your way through chapters 7 and 10 in your textbook before moving on to step three.

Lastly, you will complete the module assignments, turn them in following the instructions provided, and complete the module knowledge check before moving on to Module 4.
