Color Theory Poster Assignment (40pts)

1. Using Adobe Illustrator, create a poster that showcases your understanding of Color Theory. Your poster should be visually engaging and effectively communicate the concepts learned in this module:

   • CMYK vs RGB​

   • Hue, saturation, value, shade, tint, & temperature

   • Complementary, analogous, and triadic color schemes

   • Consider the Gestalt Principles

2. Final document size:

   • 11 inches wide by 17 inches tall

   • Color Mode: CMYK (for print)

   • Bleed: 0.25 inches (to ensure proper printing)

   • Resolution: Set your document resolution to at least 300 dpi for high-quality printing.

3. Begin by researching ideas and sketching concepts for your poster. ​

4. Experiment with different ideas to find the most effective solution. Be creative!

5. Save your file as LASTNAME_Color Poster_M3.ai

6. Upload your file to the Module 3 folder in Google Drive.
