Logo Design

After you meet with your instructor, you will have three strong concepts to explore for your logo project.
Begin building your logo using Adobe Illustrator.
Consider the Gestalt Principles.
Final document:
1. Three art boards 1080px by 1080px each.
2. Color Mode: CMYK (for print).
3. Work in Black & White only (you will add color in your next draft)..
4. Bleed: 0.00 inches (to ensure proper printing)
5. Resolution: Set your document resolution to at least 300 dpi for high-quality printing.
You will turn in an Adobe Illustrator file with three strong concepts.
1. Outline all fonts to prevent missing font errors.
2. Expand all shapes, patterns, strokes, etc.
3. Show your work. I want to see how you built your logo and the steps that you took.
Save your file as LASTNAME_Logo_Draft1_M7.ai
Upload your file to the Module 7 folder in Google Drive.
Once you have received feedback from your instructor, you may move on to draft 2.

After meeting with your instructor, you will have one strong concept to continue working on.
Continue refining your logo using Adobe Illustrator.

3. Bleed: 0.00 inches (to ensure proper printing)
4. Resolution: Set your document resolution to at least 300 dpi for high-quality printing.
You will turn in an Adobe Illustrator file.
1. Outline all fonts to prevent missing font errors.
2. Expand all shapes, patterns, strokes, etc.
3. Submit a clean document as if you were to present this to a client. Remove any misc work from your art board and paste board.
Save your file as LASTNAME_Logo_Final_M7.ai
Upload your file to the Module 7 folder in Google Drive.
