Personal Logo

  • Adobe Photoshop

This is a personal monogram logo I created for myself. My aim was to incorporate my initials in an abstract manner. I started by researching and sketching multiple ideas using Procreate on my iPad Pro. Once I had three strong concepts, I built my designs in Adobe Photoshop, using the rectangle tool and transform panel. After narrowing down my choices to one final concept, I made final refinements to the design to ensure proper alignment, weight, and scale.

Project 2: Image Editing 1

To enhance the top image, I began by creating a new Photoshop document and importing the image. I utilized the rectangle select tool to carefully choose most of the image and then applied generative fill to expand the image to a landscape orientation. Next, I used the lasso selection tool to precisely select the shark and applied a dynamic rainbow color effect using the built-in AI tool. Following this, I consolidated all the layers and added noise to the entire image for a textured effect. Lastly, I adjusted the image's position to create a more visually engaging composition.

To modify the left image, I began by importing it into Adobe Photoshop. I then flipped the image horizontally to change its orientation. After that, I used the quick selection tool to carefully outline the subject and create a mask to remove the background. Following this, I placed a second image of space on top of the original image and adjusted its blending mode to "Screen" to create a specific visual effect. I then created a clipping mask of the space image to ensure it fits seamlessly with the original image. I added a black rectangle to serve as the background and adjusted the positioning of the subject, creating a visually appealing composition.
