For this project, I was assigned the task of finding a music audio clip, recording myself reading a short story or poem, and merging them into one audio clip. Once I selected my music and recorded my poem, I imported both clips into the sound editing software, Adobe Audition. First, I edited the voiceover audio to remove any distracting sounds and increase my voice's volume. Then, I worked in the multitrack view to sync the poem with the royalty-free music I selected. This involved cutting the voiceover at certain parts to match the music and adjusting the music to fade down so my voice could be heard clearly. After completing the poem, I adjusted the music to fade in a bit before fading out completely. Lastly, I deleted the remaining music from the clip.
